RCMP Says “Concerning” Arrest Video Doesn’t Contain The Entire 152-Year-Old Practice Of Stuff Like This Always Happening

Screen Shot 2019-07-02 at 9.09.38 PMResponding to the online vitriol and angry media airwaves, the RCMP went on the offensive by offering some further context to the “concerning” arrest video that surfaced on June 30th. In the video, we could see that an RCMP officer seemed excited to ring in the Canada Day weekend by practicing what the force has been doing for over a century.

“Look,” said RCMP Commissioner, Brenda Lucki. “We know how to handle this media shitstorm, because the fact of the matter is, we have done this many times. The video clip is only ten seconds long, but what the public is missing is the hours and hours of footage of us doing this for 152 years. In the past, we were there to make sure they endured famine and disease, while never achieving full sovereignty in the process. This is just the usual, nothing to see here!”

Sources confirmed that the RCMP officer in the video has been placed on the short list for next commissioner of the entire police force.
